Bhubing Palace, Chiang Mai, Thailand


Bhubing Palace  located on Doi Buak Ha, Muang District, Chiang Mai Province. Bhubing Palace was built in 1961. The construction started initially with only the royal resident building and the guesthouse. The other buildings were additionally built on later dates.
  It is the royal winter residence in Chiang Mai where the Royal family stays during seasonal visits to the people in the northern part of Thailand. The palace has the royal guesthouse for prominent state visitors from abroad. In the past Their Majesties welcomed or granted royal audience to State visitors only in the capital of Bangkok. 

Tourists and visitors are welcome to visit this palace. But few there are few reminders to all tourists who wanted to visit Bhubing Palace: 




1.Please be reminded that you are on the palace grounds and noises kept at low level
2.Proper dresses should be worn, no shorts, no dresses showing bare shoulders (Clothes rental available inside)
3.Please do not enter flowers garden or pick the flowers
4.It is prohibited to carry weapons
5.No pets allowed

This palace  open for tourist visits  everyday starting from 8:30am up to 4:30pm. You can buy ticket starting from 8:30am up to 3.30pm. Admission fees for foreigner is 50 baht, for thai adult is 20 baht, and for student is 10 baht. Trolley car service is available for rent for only 300 baht/car maximum of 3 person.

Note: This palace is close during the royal visit from January up to March.
