Chiang Dao, Northern Thailand

Chiang Dao , means “the City of Stars”.  It is located in North of Chiang Mai en route to Fang / Tha Ton.  Agricultural is the primary source of income in this place. Majority of the people here are farmers.

Chiang Dao's attraction is Doi Chiang Dao; it is Thailand's 3rd highest mountain at 2225m. This mountain has abundance of wildlife and nature.

                                               

                                                      Chiang Dao is famous in Thailand for its cave. The cave system is very long and deep (said to be the largest and deepest of Thailand).
